Wedding MBA

And we’re BACK! From Las Vegas, that is, and we are FULL of new ideas and modern trends from the wedding industry as a whole. We flew out there to attend the Wedding MBA (Merchant Business Academy) which is exactly what it sounds like – seminars and education on the wedding industry for wedding professionals! It is our goal at A Sound Impression to keep on top of the latest trends in technology, marketing, social media, and of course.. the ever changing awesomeness of weddings as a whole. We hard Kathy Ireland speak, learned that blogging is the number way to increase SEO for any company, and absolutely fell in love with Sasha Souza and her take on planning events for fabulous clients. So.. here are a few photos from our adventures in Vegas!

Here is the conference space where we spent our days, feverishly taking notes and sharing ideas with vendors from across the world!

This was a shot of the booklet that was our bible that week, telling us what time/room each seminar was in.

The fabulous Kathy Ireland gives us a run through of her wedding companies and takes us through the journey that has been her life until now (and she even gave out FREE $$$) 🙂

I had to share with you this adorable mini cake, created by the fabulous Jean Philippe. A bakery in the hotel/casino Aria features his cakes, and if you haven’t heard of this guy.. his cakes are definitely worth a look!

I’m Cali (said like Kay-Lee) and I’m in LOVE with weddings.More importantly, I’m in love with capturing all the happiness and love that are present on the wedding day. We all know the only things left after a wedding day is over are the photos + videos, plus a worn out wedding dress I love giving couples a fantastic memory of their wedding day, one that truly captures the voices, the tears, the joy, the family and the love, all while telling the story of you as a couple.
