“The morning after my wedding I woke up knowing all of my dreams had just come true…even though I knew it was the best day of my life, I still felt like something was missing. It hit me later that day, that I wish I could relive my wedding day as a guest and see how perfect everything was from the outside looking in. Choosing to have Cali capture my whole wedding day was the best decision of my wedding planning process I made. Because of her, I get to relive the best day of my life over and over. Its not just a video either, its the most creative, touching, in depth view point of not only an incredible day but also an unbelievable memory. When I received the “sneak peek”, to say I was blown away is an understatement, then when I received the full footage and I was just in tears with so much happiness. Her work is absolutely incredible and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Her attention to detail and sense of knowing whats important to you is spot on. My dad is a man of very few words but had the most moving speech, she recorded his words and played it during parts of the live footage that was just moving. Months after my wedding I lost my Granny, Cali’s amazing intuition caught the most beautiful footage of her that I now have for the rest of my life.
Every bride has things they wish they would have done or something they would have maybe done differently, but choosing to have a sound impression as a part of my day is a decision I would make 100 times again and will recommend to everyone.

We also went with A Sound Impression for a DJ and he was amazing! I was so happy with his professionalism and attentiveness to my husband and I on our day. He did everything that was asked of him and stuck to my schedule. To say we were a picky couple is an understatement and we were so happy with everything about him.”

I never heard a song the entire night that I didn’t like, plus, he played almost every Michael Jackson song that night, just like I requested! 🙂 He was also super helpful with staying on schedule for the night, as well as really outgoing to get the guests dancing!

Hopefully you’ve already seen this (since we shared the bajeebas out of it!), but we were so stoked to help Sam Swartz Photography with a promo video! He is one of our favs to work with and we were stoked he chose us to put this together! We got to meet Travis and Morgan Anderson and listen to them talk about their awesome experience working with Sam not only on their wedding day, but also their engagement session and how well they were able to get to know him prior to their wedding. Building that relationship made things much more comfortable and fluent on the day of. One thing couples don’t realize is exactly how MUCH time they are spending with their photographers/videographers on the day of their wedding, so it’s very important to choose someone you mesh with not only as a vendor, but also as a friend. I can’t lie. We COMPLETELY fell in love with Blush Bridal Boutique after we got to see the space and learn how much different they are than any other boutique we’ve been to! Emmy (the owner) is the sweetest thing ever, and her store is a low key alternative to the overwhelming racks of white that are most bridal shops. Her elegant space allows brides to try to different styles and types of dresses in an intimate environment, complete with a couch for your bridesmaids or mother, and a platform with mirrors for you. The other unique feature is that Emmy, a fashion stylist, shows you all the different “looks” you can achieve with the same dress: different shoes, earrings, veils, sashes, necklaces, etc. It’s absolutely a one-of-a-kind experience, and the video below captures it all from a bride-to-be’s perspective!

“Booking with A Sound Impression was kind of last minute and luckily she still had our wedding date available. It was by far the best money spent on our wedding!!! Now, for all you “brides to be” out there, if you are debating on if you should spend the money for a PROFESSIONAL videographer please take it from me and do it! The emotions A Sound Impression can capture in their videos are indescribable. As I watched mine, I saw so many different moments I had no idea even happened. I didn’t know my mother cried when I put on my dress or that our ring bear took off running down the aisle. You are so wrapped up in the day it is so nice to have this video to look back on to see what all happened even when you were not around. Oh and if you think, “We can just have my cousin video the ceremony.” I promise you, it isn’t at all good enough. Our wedding and reception were both outside. A Sound Impression also makes sure the sound is just as clear as your video. Even though we said our vows outside, you could hear all of us as clear as if she was standing right beside us. Every time you watch your very own video, you will relive all those emotions. I still get tears in my eyes every time I watch mine. This testimonial was very emotional for us – Jim + Renee were the winners of our Free Wedding Film Giveaway last year. Their budget was severely cut after Renee was hospitalized and video was one of the things to go. They secured more than 600 votes to win first place in our contest. “From the moment I sat in the chair to get my hair done- until the time I walked out of the reception hall..was a complete blur.
