Blush Bridal Boutique Promo | Lincoln, NE

I can’t lie. We COMPLETELY fell in love with Blush Bridal Boutique after we got to see the space and learn how much different they are than any other boutique we’ve been to! Emmy (the owner) is the sweetest thing ever, and her store is a low key alternative to the overwhelming racks of white that are most bridal shops. Her elegant space allows brides to try to different styles and types of dresses in an intimate environment, complete with a couch for your bridesmaids or mother, and a platform with mirrors for you. The other unique feature is that Emmy, a fashion stylist, shows you all the different “looks” you can achieve with the same dress: different shoes, earrings, veils, sashes, necklaces, etc. It’s absolutely a one-of-a-kind experience, and the video below captures it all from a bride-to-be’s perspective!

Mike + Tori | Wedding Videography Omaha, NE

The Magnolia Hotel in Omaha is one of the most gorgeous venues to have your wedding and we were lucky to film Mike + Tori’s very special day there on a beautiful Saturday last May. From prep through reception, it was all in the same fabulous location. We filmed throughout the day and edited together a Same Day Edit of their wedding day for their guests to watch at the reception. Our DJ Kurtis rocked the dance floor, keeping a packed house having a great time, as usual. The photos at the end are courtesy of Elwood Photography.. amazing work as always. Check out the Same Day Edit below!

United Way Helping Hands Auction Recap Video

The United Way Helping Hands Auction held a special place in my heart this year, as I was able to contribute to the planning by being on the live auction committee! This is the 6th year for the auction, which raised over $24,000 to provide diapers, winter coats, and clothing to working families who need assistance. Here is a short recap of the night – we hope you will join us next year and if you attended or donated this year, we can’t thank you enough!

Cody & TeriLee | Wedding Videography, Council Bluffs, IA

These two were tons of fun! Cody and TeriLee met on and knew the moment they met each others families that they were destined to be together. We got to know them fairly well ahead of time as we put together a Love Story video for them as well, detailing out their entire Love Story. We traveled to Council Bluffs, IA to provide our wedding videography services for their wedding and everything turned out beautifully! The reception was held at the Mid America Center in a ballroom that was completely transformed – the uplighting and decor was breathtaking. Check out the highlights below – Enjoy!

Jason + Lindsay | Wedding Videography, Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Beach wedding? Absolutely! We traveled down to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida to provide our videography services for the gorgeous wedding of Lindsay and Jason on the beaches of the Watercolor Inn and Resort. Lindsay was a stunning bride, and their wedding happened right at sunset, which gave us fantastic lighting. We got to work with the Rockstar photographers of Pure 7 Studios, always an awesome time! The reception was killer, completed with a tent, live band, couch seating and full of colored paper lanterns. Highlights below.. Along with some sneaks from Pure 7!

Wedding Videography Tip #2 | First Look

Our goal is always to create the most amazing video possible for your wedding day, and while we always work with that in mind, there are little things YOU can do to help make sure things flow perfectly.

Videography Tip #2 | First Look

As one of the debated topics among wedding industry professionals as well as brides to be, it’s something that can add a whole new element to the wedding day. Most girls grow up dreaming of a large, white wedding with your groom seeing you for the first time as you walk down the aisle. As we get older, traditions have changed and more couples than ever are opting for a “First Look” or a “First Reveal” before the actual ceremony.

So what’s the benefit? Think of this way. During the ceremony, there are SO many things going on. You’re being escorted by your father down a long aisle, trying to remember smile as you are surrounded by 100+ of your closest friends and family, trying to focus on your handsome groom standing at the end.. chances are he has seen you well before you see him. You could miss his reaction – or, he may be so taken by beauty that he wants to cry, but is embarrassed to in front of 100+ people. Instead, imagine this: You walking up, tapping your groom on the shoulder, taking in every moment of his reaction while you two relish in the moment that this IS your wedding day. It’s here. And it’s really happening. Why not take a few minutes together alone, exchange gifts, or just take a breather in what will be the most whirlwind day of your life. It’s a way to ensure you not only get to see his complete reaction to you in your stunning dress (because you tried on hundreds to find the perfect one!) but also to give yourselves a few minutes of togetherness.

As for the video, the first look adds so much to your film – the tears, the joy, the smiles, most importantly the LOVE between you will shine through adding emotion and passion to your film, taking you right back to that moment every time you watch it.

But not to worry – You will still glow with happiness as you walk down the aisle, but now you just get to take in the moment. And trust me, it will still take his breath away. 🙂
