Images You Can’t Live Without!

With so much going on during your wedding day there are some moments that you might possibly forget if you didn’t have someone capturing those small details that you worked so hard to include. Everyone knows how important the videos and images are of the Wedding Day but there are some which stand out and somehow manage to take our breath away! Working time and time again with Sarah Pfeiffer Photography, she has been generous enough to let us show off some of her incredible work to give some examples of images that you don’t want to go without! Thanks Sarah!

Almost all items at a wedding are to be shared between the bride and the groom. However there are a few things that are strictly just for the bride: the wedding dress, her bouquet and her engagement ring this image captures the “bride only” items.

Another great image that is always fun to share with family and friends is the group image. Your wedding party has been carefully picked and capturing a photo with all of them helps give the thanks for sharing your special day with them.

One thing that we love about weddings is that everyone is a little bit different. We absolutely love when someone chooses to do something extremely unique to the bride and groom. Capturing those quirky things that you just had to have in your wedding, makes for great images and reminds you that you are not like everyone else! Angry Birds Cake Pops anyone?

Jeff + Jessica, 7.2.11

This was such an awesome day! I have known these two since high school and I couldn’t wait to film their big day back in our hometown. I wanted to do something extra for them, so we were able to put together a surprise Same Day Edit for them. This video played at their reception, surprising everyone. Their awesome reaction was caught in the photo below, shot by Tony Miller Photography. It was also the first time we got to work with him, and it really couldn’t have been a better day! Our Brides Say It Best!

Here’s a good we pulled from the archives.. we provided the DJ and Video services for this unique wedding at the Henry Doorly Zoo! When asked about their DJ and the quality of his performance, the reply melted our hearts:

“(Our DJ) did an outstanding job; my biggest fear was that no one would dance and he had the dance floor packed! There are places to cut budget but the DJ and Videographer are not the places to do that. I am so glad we have a video of our day. I never want to forget those moments and now I can just watch the video if I start to!”

YWCA Shaking Things Up Martini Party, 3.8.12

We love giving back to the community whenever we can, and one of our favorite organizations to work with is the YWCA of Lincoln. We donated our DJ services to help with announcements and to play some rockin’ music. Each year they host a Martini Party called “Shakin’ Things Up” as a fundraiser and this year’s event was in the Apothecary Building in the Ridenour Room. Local bars from Lincoln set up shop inside the room and each has a specialty martini that they make, each competing for the best in the room. Attendees receive a tasting of all six martinis and are then asked to vote on their favorite. It’s such a blast, and if you haven’t been, go follow YWCA of Lincoln on Facebook so you can keep up on when the next event will be!

JP + Jenna, Same Day Edit, 6.4.11

These two had one of the most perfect days a couple could ask for – gorgeous weather, amazing decor, a perfectly pieced together day, complete with surprise canons of confetti over the dance floor! We spent the whole day with these two filming, and our DJ Kurtis rocked the dance floor later that night. This video was another Same Day Edit that we showed to their guests after their Love Story video at the reception.

The hall was decorated by Terry with Grand Illusions in Beatrice, and the reception is at the Holiday Inn in Lexington. As always, we love working side by side with the talented Matt with Elwood Photography and he definitely rocked the images from this one!

First Dance – God Gave Me You (alternate versions)

Most people are familiar with the newly popular song “God Gave Me You” sung by Blake Shelton; however, you may or may not know the original was sung by Dave Barnes. Both version are incredible and truly romantic but we found a rockin’ cover done by Michael Henry & Justin Robinett. Their version is a little lighter and the piano seals it – it might just be perfect for your big day! I’ve shared a portion of my favorite lyrics along with the video of Michael Henry & Justin Robinett.
